Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us.

• Open Mataanaha and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Delete Account.
• If you signed in more than 10 minutes ago, tap Sign in again first (this keeps a phone that is left signed in from deleting your account).
• Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted immediately.

If you no longer have the app, email help@mataanaha.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request from that address and delete the account, normally within a few days and at most within one month.

The account controller is Stichting KHAYR Foundation, Parallelweg 128, A3, 1948 NN Beverwijk, The Netherlands (KvK 95007938).

• Your profile (name and email address) and sign-in details.
• Your library, saved books, bookmarks and your reading and listening progress.
• Your reviews, saved items, support conversations and event or giveaway registrations.

• Records of purchases, kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, without your name or email address.
• Server logs for a short period, for security.

Deleting your account ends your access to any purchased content. Purchases cannot be restored to a new account.
